Arunachal Pradesh Rhododendrons

In 2003, David embarked upon three treks in Arunachal Pradesh with two colleagues. Kenneth Cox described our treks as some of the most successful in the area in modern times. Seed collections were made from numerous plants, many of which still have to be named. It is just possible there may be something new here (over 40 Rhododendron species were found over the course of the three treks), but if not then it is still very important to collect species from new areas, as there are always new forms to be found.
