Now, take a look at the online catalogue for our Hardy Plant Nursery,
which sells a variety of plants including, in particular,
many varieties of colourful Rhododendrons and Azaleas.
Here at a height of 1,000ft our stock is, of course, very hardy.
(Sorry, no Mail Order).

We also have for sale Rhododendrons grown from seed collected
by David on his treks to Nepal and Arunachal
Pradesh.

Due to poor health, Elizabeth has now retired
from
running the Tea Room,
however hot and cold drinks are available.
A Picnic Area will be provided for your use.

On the 2nd May the RSPB (Macclesfield Group) turned out
in force to help with the first Charity Wednesday in May.

The weather brightened up and there was blue sky and
warmth. The birds did their thing, singing their little hearts out and a list of 30 birds seen in the gardens that day
was drawn up by the birders. They trained a telescope onto a bird box occupied by Pied Flycatchers for visitors to view
from the patio. A guided walk went across the Nature Reserve to view the birds on the pond and in the fields.
There was cake, scones and hot drinks and there was a
veritable 'Garden Party' atmosphere.
Our thanks go out to all who helped on the day.
